Brennan Moore, CFA
Brennan Moore is the host of The Nuclear Investing Podcast, a show exploring how nuclear energy is powering a clean, reliable future and what it means for investors.
After spending over a decade in oil and gas, Brennan became deeply interested in nuclear energy’s potential to deliver abundant, carbon-free power at scale. Through the podcast, he aims to help investors, policymakers, and the broader public better understand how nuclear fits into the global energy transition — and where they can participate in advancing it. His goal is to fuel informed engagement in what he views as one of the most important energy and investment stories of the coming decades.
Brennan currently serves as CFO of Westwind Energy Holdings, an energy investment firm focused on real assets in the Permian Basin.
Earlier in his career, he served as VP of Finance at PRI Operating, a Blackstone-backed exploration and production company, where he helped lead the company’s successful $1.8 billion sale in 2023. His background spans capital markets, M&A, and strategic operations, with experience managing relationships across private equity, banking, and institutional investment partners. He began his career at ConocoPhillips and later worked in J.P. Morgan’s Energy Group, gaining deep exposure to the financial and operational dynamics of the energy industry.
Brennan holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University, where he played collegiate baseball, and is a CFA Charterholder.
